La Galerie Laroche/Joncas est heureuse d’annoncer que pour une durée de quatre semaines, du 8 Octobre au 3 Novembre 2013, nous aurons pignon sur rue au 2 Rivington St. dans le Lower East-Side de New-York. Pour cette première incursion dans la capitale culturelle nous avons choisis de présenter deux expositions de deux semaines chacune avec une sélection d’oeuvres d’artistes émergeants et établis, d’artistes Québécois, Canadiens et Américains. Le vernissage avec la présence de quelques artistes se tiendra le Mercredi 9 Octobre, de 18 :00 – 21 :00.
La première exposition du 8 au 20 Octobre inclura Ted Barker (Winnipeg), Colleen Heslin, (Montréal), Benjamin King (New-York), Gilles Mihalcean (Montréal), Yadir Quintana, (New-York), Peter Schuyff (Amsterdam) et Jana Sterbak (Montréal).
La seconde exposition qui débutera le 22 Octobre, (vernissage Jeudi le 24 octobre, 18 :00-21 :00) pour se terminer le 3 Novembre, inclus Adam Bergeron, Dan Brault et Jean-Philippe Harvey, (tous les trois de la Ville de Québec), Sean Montgomery (Edmonton), Manuel Ocampo (Manille) et Jayson Oliveria (Manille).
C’est une superbe opportunité pour la Galerie de présenter les artistes du Québec et du Canada dans le cœur de ce nouveau district émergeant de la capitale culturelle qu’est New-York. La plupart des artistes sélectionnés présenteront leur travail pour la première fois à New-York. Galerie Laroche/Joncas remercie la SODEC et le Gouvernement du Québec pour son généreux support.

Galerie Laroche/Joncas is thrilled to announce the opening of a Pop-Up space in New York City from October 8- November 3. The 550 square ft gallery space is located at 2 Rivington St. in the lower east side. We will be presenting two, two week exhibitions of emerging and established Quebecois, Canadian and American artists. A reception will be held with some of the artists present on Wednesday, October 9, from 6:00-9:00 pm.
The first exhibition from October 8 – 20 will include Ted Barker (Winnipeg), Colleen Heslin (Montreal), Benjamin King (New York), Gilles Mihalcean (Montreal), Yadir Quintana (New York), Peter Schuyff (Amsterdam) and Jana Sterbak (Montreal).
The second exhibition from October 22 – November 3, opening Thursday October 24, 6:00-9:00pm will include Adam Bergeron, Dan Brault, Jean-Philippe Harvey (all 3 from Quebec city), Sean Montgomery (Edmonton), Manuel Ocampo (Manilla) and Jayson Oliveria (Manilla). This is a great opportunity for the gallery to present artists from Quebec and Canada in the heart of the new emerging gallery district of New York City.
